Te Papa

Te Papa, originally uploaded by insane jane.

I went to Rita Angus here with Mum and Kay
The exhibition was amazing

She was inspired and inspiring
I very much enjoyed standing in front of her paintings

and visualising where she was and the vibe she was feeling,
you can take that from her paintings they have a depth that is
nothing short of inspiring.

I have the book but I am not allowed to look

Inspiration for the upcoming 38th!

Walk to the water

The return from my new haven, I just found out that the road near my house that has a no entry sign is actually public land.  There's a great walk up to the water tower that brings you to a view high over northern Lower Hutt.  Pretty stoked to have this on my doorstep.

Blooming again ...

this 50mm lens plays some magic on the bokeh ...
but I'm still struggling with the focus ...

I think that may be obvious in more ways than one ...

Katie Brown's vase is gorgeous in blue reflected glory ...

Reminding us all that if you don't mind it doesn't matter!

It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it

just foolin around ...

Aaaah LOVE ...

we all so longed to be loved by others

I am slowly learning that the more I love myself
the more easily I will be able to love others

Freely and without expectation of them loving me back
Not needing them to love me back

I am on an amazing journey and meeting amazing, wonderful, gracious, loving, beautiful, content people along the way.

And I see that the more I become all those things myself
the more they will gravitate towards me

And I can float like an angel all the time
