It comes back to the fact that eating protein at source is sustainable (eg eating plants) rather than enslaving other beings to steal their bodies because it takes 16x as much plant material to get 1 pound of animal protein. 

We can feed 16 times as many people = much more efficient.

Chevrolet alien ant parade

Ants on missions walking along the white spouting. Little bodies make shadowy images when they pass through the reflected sunshine. Most of this is out of focus and I like how sometimes they seem to be with the beat of the music. I'd love to understand what optical phenomenon made the gorgeous pink and yellow hues near the end. I met Emma on Canaan Downs a few years back. She inspired me with all her activities and interests. I've often thought of her since because she taught me a breathing technique where you use your arms like a bird to bring good energy into your body. It's rather empowering. I dare you to try it. Mum's photo

So happy to have this photo my Mum took, it's so rare to find a photo of me in the moment behind the lens. I coveted this one (lens) for years & even have a stoked selfie of the day I bought it. My smile radiates the joy I felt to finally have this beauty in my tool kit. It's a beautiful but rather cumbersome lens. For crispness it can't beat the 100mm macro but of course it can take me closer (200mm).
