Mum was not happy, she thought I looked provocative in some of these photos.

(I didn't know what she meant so promptly got a dictionary to look it up!)

Not so innocent now as I prepare to celebrate the 20th anniversary of my 18th birthday, tee hee :o)

Thought for today

Todays thought for today really got me thinking
as I had already decided that I needed to start
making plans to make things happen.
To make plans to have to first work out what
it is you want ...
what your vision is ...

Create Vision

Never believe anyone who says we cannot change.
Vision is one of the secrets of personal transformation.

We are all artists, our mind is the arena of creation
and vision is what we are constantly creating.

What is your vision of yourself today -
patient, relaxed, positive or
tense, tight and negative?

What do you prefer?

So be creative - what does patience
look like, feel like, what are you doing
that is different when you are patient
and you are expressing your power to ..wait?

Always start with vision not action.
See it and you will be it.
Be it and you will do it.
This is how we create our own life.

Radiate Light

Each one of us is a walking radiator.

Mostly we radiate thoughts and attitudes.
From deep within we radiate our state of being,
and the essential, original and eternal state
of every being is peaceful and loving.

But we block and distort this energy
with our attachments.
Attachments turn
love into fear,
peace into anger
and then
distort our attitudes and
actions towards others.

This is neither relaxing for ourselves,
or for those around us.
Which is why detachment is the secret
to living lightly and lovingly.

To be a radiator that people
come to for real warmth,
what do you need to detach from today?

No one can threaten you.
Only your dependency on a thing,
an idea,
or an opinion
can be threatened.

I went to Rita Angus here with Mum and Kay
The exhibition was amazing

She was inspired and inspiring
I very much enjoyed standing in front of her paintings

and visualising where she was and the vibe she was feeling,
you can take that from her paintings they have a depth that is
nothing short of inspiring.

I have the book but I am not allowed to look

The return from my new haven, I just found out that the road near my house that has a no entry sign is actually public land.  There's a great walk up to the water tower that brings you to a view high over northern Lower Hutt.  Pretty stoked to have this on my doorstep.

Aaaah LOVE ...

we all so longed to be loved by others

I am slowly learning that the more I love myself
the more easily I will be able to love others

Freely and without expectation of them loving me back
Not needing them to love me back

I am on an amazing journey and meeting amazing, wonderful, gracious, loving, beautiful, content people along the way.

And I see that the more I become all those things myself
the more they will gravitate towards me

And I can float like an angel all the time
